Iowa football is making history, but not the best kind ๐ฌ.
The total for Saturdayโs clash between Iowa and Northwestern opened at 31, and it has since dropped half a point to 30.5. That is tied for the lowest college football total ever, along with Minnesota-Iowa a mere two weeks ago ๐.
Iowaโs five previous Big Ten games had totals in the 30s and four of them still went under. The last two Iowa games havenโt even reached 30 points, with the Hawkeyes prevailing 15-6 over Wisconsin and dropping a 12-10 affair to Minnesota.
Even with Iowa-Northwestern in historic betting territory, the under has still racked up 61.8% of the tickets and 74.4% of the handle among all bets placed on this total.
