ON THIS DAY 📆

February 2, 2024

Exactly four years ago today, Patrick Mahomes won his first Super Bowl 🏆 after leading the Chiefs to a 31-20 comeback victory over the 49ers.

What many people may not recall is that one of Mahomes’ Super Bowl LIV props had one of the craziest beats in recent memory.

Mahomes’ rushing prop closed at 29.5 and he was at 44 rushing yards when Kansas City got the ball back with 57 seconds remaining in the game. The Chiefs QB kneeled the ball three times with San Francisco still calling timeouts down 11 and those three plays went for -15 rushing yards 😬.

Mahomes’ final rushing tally was 29 yards when the clock hit triple zeroes, giving under bettors a win they likely will never forget.
