️‍♂️ MAKE THE CASE: The LIV guys we think will shine at the PGA

EXPERT PICKS: Paige’s Outrights for the PGA

HEATING UP: Clients backing Miami to cover in G1

LIV A LITTLE AT THE PGA

MAKE THE CASE‍⚖️

After Brooks Koepka melted down on Masters Sunday, the temptation was to snicker: “Hey, these are not 54-hole events.”

In truth the LIV crew impressed, with Koepka and Phil Mickelson tying for second and Patrick Reed finishing T4. Which renegades do we like to be the top LIVer (listed under Tournament Groups) at the PGA Championship?

Koepka (+330): Is the event a major? Yup. Does Brooks give a bleep about anything but winning? Nope.

Dustin Johnson (+400): DJ shook off a triple bogey Sunday to win the LIV event at Tulsa, beating Cameron Smith and Brandon Grace in a playoff. He’s primed.

Reed (+1100): He’s the equivalent of a Draw in soccer. There’s good value because no one wants to bet it.

Mickelson (+2200): For spits and giggles. There’s no way the emaciated 52 year old can still contend in a major (again), right?

WILD WIN

A Colorado client used their $100 Bonus Bet on a 6-leg parlay from last night’s Lakers-Nuggets showdown. The result? A cool $12,000 payday.

Here were the legs: LeBron James 8+ assists, Michael Porter Jr. 10+ rebounds, Anthony Davis 25+ points, Nikola Jokic 25+ points, Jamal Murray 2+ made threes and Austin Reaves 2+ made threes.

EXPERT PICKS

Paige predicts a first-time major winner at the PGA. Jon Eimer has a UCL play this afternoon. Ariel Epstein has us covered at night.

THE FORMER PRO

PGA Championship: Xander Schauffele to Win (+1700)
“I am shocked that Xander hasn’t won a major yet. He’s such a great ball striker, and I feel really good about him going into this week.”
PGA Championship: Max Homa to Win (+4500)
“Max has the game to win on very difficult golf courses. We’ve seen it already with his win at Riviera.”

THE SOCCER GUY

Man City vs. Real Madrid: Man City ML + Over 1.5 Goals (-110) [3 p.m. ET]
"Man City playing at the Etihad is an entirely different beast. They are 13-0 this calendar year when playing at home, having outscored their last 4 UCL opponents 17-1 there."

THE PROP QUEEN

Marlins SP Edward Cabrera: Under 5.5 Strikeouts (-110) [6:40 p.m. ET]
"He’s gone under 5.5 in all eight games versus low K-rate teams since last season. Washington has the fifth-lowest strikeout rate against righties."
Brewers @ Cardinals: F5 Under 4.5 Runs (-125) [7:45 p.m. ET]
"Corbin Burnes had a 1.29 ERA in four starts against the Cardinals last season. Cardinals southpaw Matthew Liberatore goes up against a Brewers lineup that has the second-worst OPS against lefties in the majors."

PointsBet Data and Insights

Heat vs. Celtics (-8); Total 211

TIP-OFF: 8:30 p.m. ET

KEY STATS: Boston is shooting 39.5% on 3-pointers this postseason, the highest of all 16 teams. Jimmy Butler is scoring 31.1 points per game in this playoffs and put up 24+ points in nine of 10 postseason games.

TRENDING: The Heat have covered seven of their last nine games, while the Celtics are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 home affairs. The over went 8-1 in Miami’s last nine road games, and it’s 8-3 in Boston’s previous 11 overall.

MAKING MOVES: This line opened Celtics -8. After first dipping to -7.5 and reaching as high as -8.5, it’s back where it started. The total has crept up from 210 to 211.

SIZING UP THE SERIES: Many clients have been enticed by the Heat and their juicy +375 price to advance. Miami has racked up 79% of the tickets and 55% of the handle for series bets.

TOP PROP: Max Strus over 11.5 points has received the most handle of any player prop. Strus has exceeded that number in each of his past five games, as he averaged 14.7 points last round against the Knicks.

Xander Schauffele — Top 10 (+175) @ PGA Championship

“Xander has quietly placed top 15 in each of the last four majors and he’s in excellent form with three straight top 5s on TOUR. With its narrow fairways and high rough, Oak Hill may be the most difficult track these guys see all year. The tougher the course, the better Schauffele plays.”
