THE MAIN EVENT: The Chiefs-49ers line is plunging
EXPERT PICKS: Jay and Ryan in sympatico on Pittsburgh
POWER HOUR: A Free Bet drop for In-Play action!
HUSTLE BOOST: Can Travis Kelce have another monster game?
KEY FACTS: The Niners are the talk of the NFL after landing RB Christian McCaffrey, who is expected to make his debut Sunday (Rushing Yards Total: 30.5). SF is also getting healthier, adding DE Nick Bosa and LT Trent Williams to its lineup. JuJu Smith-Schuster came alive last week (5 catches, 113 yards), giving Patrick Mahomes a target he craves.
TRENDING: Jimmy Garoppolo is 16-4 ATS as a ‘dog, and the Niners have covered six straight following a loss.
INSIGHT: The line has dipped from 2.5 even though the Chiefs are a massive public favorite – 81% of tickets, 75% of handle.
EXPERT PICKS
NBC lead betting analyst Jay Croucher and PointsBet studio host Ryan Leaf both hit their TNF picks -- Cardinals -2.5 and Juwan Johnson Over 30.5 receiving yards. Here are their best Sunday plays.
THE BOOK
Cowboys -6.5 over Lions (-115)
"Dallas is a potential juggernaut with Dak Prescott back. Jared Goff won't be able to do anything against this defense."
Steelers +7 over Dolphins (-107)
"The Pittsburgh defense has been surprisingly stout without TJ Watt and this Miami 'D' does not deserve to be a touchdown favorite over any team with the potential to hang."
THE BIG NAME
Giants +3 over Jaguars (-105)
"Giants coach Brian Daboll should thank the oddsmakers for making his team an underdog. They won't get complacent."
Steelers +7 over Dolphins (-107)
"The Dolphins have too many unknowns, and they have not been able to protect the QB all season."
1. Giants RB Saquon Barkley ⬇️ 80.5 Rushing Yards (-125): The Jaguars have the third best rushing ‘D’ (89.3 yards per game), so it’s not a Saquontum leap to figure that Daniel Jones will instead throw to the third most targeted RB in the league.
2. Commanders RB Brian Robinson ⬆️ 45.5 Rushing Yards (-125): He has emerged as the top threat in a crowded backfield. And the Jets’ Breece Hall (117 yards) had his way♂️ with this defense last week.
3. 49ers TE George Kittle ⬆️ 4.5 receptions (-115): Expect lots of Kittle over the middle as KC uses two-high coverages on 65% of opponent dropbacks outside the red zone (2nd highest in NFL).
KEY FACTS: The band is back together in Miami, with Tua T having cleared concussion protocol. The Dolphins averaged 27.7 points in starting 3-0 but have not won since. The Steelers have not topped 20 points in regulation this season, but the Pittsburgh ‘D’ came through last week in upsetting the Bucs.
TRENDING: The underdog is 4-1 ATS in the teams’ last five meetings. The Under is 45-19-1 in Pittsburgh’s last 65 road games.
INSIGHT: The bet count is even but the sharps/big bettors are on Miami (69% of handle).
