There’s still a little over two months before the NFL season kicks off. To help speed up the timeline, we’re starting daily NFL previews. We’ll be highlighting the betting action for individual teams in four Hustles per week, sorting them out by division.
So to finish off June, we’re beginning AFC East week with the Bills.
SUPER BOWL Odds: Opened +550 (second), currently +800 (third)
Action: 10.9% tickets (third), 7.6% handle (fourth)
WIN TOTAL Odds: 10.5 (Over -140, Under +115)
Action: Under 60% tickets, Under 68% handle
DIVISION Odds: Opened -110, currently the +130 favorite
Action: 31.5% tickets (second among AFC East teams), 33.1% handle (second)
PERUSING THE PLAYERS
Josh Allen is tied for the second-lowest MVP odds with Joe Burrow (+700), but ranks eighth in tickets (3.7%) and seventh in handle (7.2%) for this market.
Only 12 players have lower Offensive Player of the Year odds than Stefon Diggs (+2500), yet Buffalo’s star wideout hasn’t received a single bet to take home the award.
TRADER’S TAKE: “The Bills look to be be stronger than last season on paper. However, losing LB Tremaine Edmunds and the drama surrounding Diggs creates a bit of concern. With Allen’s cap hit jumping to over $47M next season, Buffalo must prove it can overcome AFC powerhouses in the Chiefs and Bengals in 2023 while its core is intact.”

EXPERT PICKS
Ariel Epstein is holding down the fort with an over and an under on MLB totals.
THE PROP QUEEN
Reds @ Orioles: Over 10 Runs (-110) [7:05 p.m. ET]
"Both teams are sending out a pair of struggling lefties in Cole Irvin and Brandon Williamson. To make matters worse for those starters, both teams are top-15 offenses against southpaws."
White Sox @ Angels: F3 Under 2.5 (-125) [9:38 p.m. ET]
"Batters are only hitting .202 against Angels lefty Reid Detmers in the first two times through the order. White Sox flamethrower Dylan Cease has allowed 0.9 runs per first 3 innings in his last 10 starts."
KEY FACTS: Florida just scored a men’s CWS-record 24 runs in Game 2 to force a winner-take-all Game 3 against LSU. The big question surrounding LSU is whether the Tigers will have star arm Paul Skenes on the mound, who’s posted a 1.69 ERA and 209 K’s in 122.2 innings.
TRENDING: This will be the first time LSU closes as the favorite this series, as Florida was -140 in Game 1 (LSU +102) and -130 in Game 2 (LSU -105). Even with Florida’s offensive explosion, Game 3’s total (9.5) is currently where Game 2 closed at.
