ASK THE TRADER 🤔

The biggest matchup of the Week 7 college football slate belongs to the Pac-12. Oregon and Washington are both ranked in the top 10, and this is the first time two Pac-12 teams that are 5-0 or better have squared off since 2004 😮.

Washington is laying 3 points at home to Oregon and there has been interesting action so far in this showdown. It’s an even split on the tickets, with each team getting 50%. The Huskies, however, are dominating the handle at 95.0%.

We asked trader Wyatt Satre for his thoughts on the early Washington money 💰 and why the spread hasn’t moved yet off Washington -3.

ASK THE TRADER: With home-field advantage around 2.5 points, the market thinks Washington is about a half point better than Oregon. We saw other books move from 3 to 3.5 earlier this morning, but the number quickly got bet back down to 3 and that’s why we’ve stayed at 3 despite the early sharp action on Washington.

Questions about Oregon’s defense could be the reason behind the big bets on Washington -3. While both teams have two of the best offenses in the country, Oregon’s defense has yet to play a top-40 offense in terms of points per drive.

EXPERT PICKS

Two-sport star Ariel Epstein is rolling with an over for an NFL player prop and an under for an MLB player prop. Max Meyer is gladly taking the points on MNF.

THE PROP QUEEN

Packers QB Jordan Love to Get 2+ Passing TDs (-105) [8:15 p.m. ET]
“The Raiders have allowed the fourth-most passing TDs per game and only the Broncos have gotten less pressure on QBs. Las Vegas is already without corner Nate Hobbs and safety Marcus Epps is questionable to play.”
Dodgers SP Bobby Miller under 4.5 K’s (+120) [9:07 p.m. ET]
“The Diamondbacks have not struck out very much against righty starters with Miller’s pitch mix. Given that it’s the postseason, Miller’s leash will be shorter especially since he's a rookie.”

THE SENIOR EDITOR

Packers +2.5 (-110) at Raiders
“Jordan Love wilted last game against a Lions defense that has been excellent at pressuring QBs. He doesn’t have to worry about that with the Raiders, who have the NFL’s second-lowest pressure rate. Green Bay has the clear roster and coaching advantage in this game.”

ADAMS AND EVENINGS

MARQUEE MATCHUP 📺

PointsBet: A Fanatics Experience data and insights

OPENING KICKOFF: 8:15 p.m. ET

KEY FACTS: All eyes will be on Davante Adams, as he faces the Packers for the first time since he was traded to the Raiders in the 2022 offseason. Adams has been dominant in night 🌙 games in his career, as he’s tied for the fourth-most prime-time receiving TDs ever (31) in just 42 such games.

MAKING MOVES: The Packers opened as 1.5-point road favorites and got to as high as -2.5 before the spread flipped. With Jimmy Garoppolo clearing concussion protocol and Adams set to play after suffering a shoulder injury, the Raiders are now -2.5. The total has also swung from 43.5 to 45.5.

TOP PROPS: With a potential Adams revenge game serving as the main storyline tonight, it’s only fitting that the player prop drawing the most handle 💵 is Adams anytime touchdown (-105).

But it isn’t the most popular player prop by tickets, that would be Josh Jacobs anytime touchdown (-160). Jacobs and Adams are the only two odds-on favorites to find the end zone on MNF, with Aaron Jones (+115) having the shortest anytime TD odds for the Packers.

MARKET MOVERS 📈

For the first time since April, the Braves are no longer World Series 🏆 favorites. Now the Rangers have top billing after four straight playoffs wins over AL East teams.

Texas had +1600 World Series odds before the MLB postseason started, which ranked seventh among the 12 playoff teams. After sweeping the Rays, that number dropped to +750. The Rangers are now positioned at +350 after taking the first two games against the Orioles in the ALDS.

Meanwhile, the Braves sit in the third spot at +425, behind the Rangers and Phillies (+400). Philadelphia won Game 1 of the NLDS in Atlanta after the Braves were shut out for the first time since May 12 🤯. Game 2 is slated to go at 6:07 p.m. ET, with Atlanta’s moneyline at -160 and Philadelphia at +130.
