THURSDAY NIGHT LIGHTS: It can’t be worse than last week
EXPERT PICKS: Jay and Ryan are fading the Bears
POWER HOUR: A Free Bet drop for a Same Game Parlay!
HUSTLE BOOST: Justin Fields scores in a Windy City win
KEY STATS: No wonder we boo Roger Goodell! One week after the Broncos-Colts slopfest, the NFL spotlights a Bears team averaging 116.6 passing yards against a D.C. dud that has lost four straight. At least Chicago showed promise by rallying from 21-3 down in Minneapolis to make it interesting.
TRENDING: Carson Wentz is 3-0 against the Bears with a 96.0 passer rating. ‘TNF’ games with Totals in the 30s are 18-7-2 to go ⬇️ since 2000.
EXPERT PICKS
NBC lead betting analyst Jay Croucher nailed his MNF picks: Over on the Total and Josh Jacobs receiving yards. What do he and the PointsBet duo of Ryan Leaf and Teddy Greenstein have in store this week?
THE BOOK
Commanders ML (-115) over Bears
"Carson Wentz has become a punchline but remains a perfectly competent QB -- and the Washington offense can be trusted more than Chicago's 1926 offense."
Iowa State +17 over Texas (-107)
"Matt Campbell has not lost by 17+ points since 2016, his first year in Ames. This is a sandwich spot for Texas between the Red River and Oklahoma State."
THE BIG NAME
Commanders (-1) over Bears (-107)
“The Commanders have been in every game, one play away. The Bears are just bad.”
Tennessee (+7) over Alabama (-107)
“The Vols finally have an offense to keep up. Alabama barely escaped A&M and Bryce Young is questionable.”
THE BETTOR
Total Under 38 (-107)
"Don't overthink it: The Under is 16-5 in the last 21 TNF games. And the best skill position player on the field is ... Terry McLaurin?"
Michigan State +7.5 over Wisconsin (-107)
"Buy-low spot for Sparty, which is getting healthier on defense and is 7-2-2 ATS in their last 11 at home."
PointsBet has dropped a Free Bet credit into your account to use on a Thursday Night Football Same Game Parlay (pregame or Live)! Good for all states but NY.

KEY STATS: The battle of top-10 unbeatens might come down to the QBs. Sean Clifford is playing smarter (2 INTs in 137 attempts) but ranks 56th in efficiency. J.J. McCarthy ranks fifth but lacks big-game experience. Blake Corum (+2000) will continue to make a Heisman push.
TRENDING: James Franklin is 3-6 straight-up coming off a bye at Penn State and 0-8 on the road against top-5 teams. The Wolverines have covered four straight following an ATS loss.
INSIGHT: More than 69% of our spread handle is on PSU.
KEY STATS: Nick Saban is 15-0 against Tennessee, but this time could be different. The Vols (46.8 points per game) are getting superb play from QB Hendon Hooker (10 TDs, 0 INTs), and Saban said that reigning Heisman winner Bryce Young (shoulder) has been on a “pitch count” in practice.
TRENDING: Alabama is 14-3 ATS in its last 17 games following an ATS loss, and Tennessee is 4-1 ATS this season. The Vols hit the Over in nine of their last 11.
Not since Oct. 16, 1993 have we been treated to three matchups featuring opponents that are 5-0 or better. Let’s bring some (betting) nuggets to the buffet of Saturday’s best:
Kansas (+9) @ Oklahoma: Jayhawks (5-1) getting no respect against the hideous Sooners. Why? OU QB Dillon Gabriel (concussion) is set to return, while KU’s Jalon Daniels (shoulder) is on mend.
Oklahoma State (+4) @ TCU: Horned Frogs lead the nation in yards per play (8.1), while the Cowboys have a great history in these spots: Nine straight covers on the road against teams with a winning record.
NC State (+3.5) @ Syracuse: The Orange are a soft 5-0, but the Wolfpack could be without QB Devin Leary (shoulder).
Clemson (-3.5) @ Florida State: The ‘Noles have covered five straight as a ‘dog. Clemson’s offense has surged back to life (39.3 ppg).
Mississippi State (-4) @ Kentucky: UK QB Will Levis (foot) has returned to practice. The home team has covered eight straight in the series.
USC (+3.5) @ Utah: The undefeated Trojans are ‘dogs to a 2-loss team. Will Caleb Williams (+1000) produce a Heisman moment?
