MONDAY NIGHT MAYHEM

Titans @ Bills (-10); Total 47.5 (7:15p ET)

KEY FACTS: The Bills have had 10 days to chill since throttling the Rams, 31-10. Ryan Tannehill is winless in his career at Buffalo (0-5) and top target Robert Woods was barely visible (1 reception, 13 yards) in Week 1. RB Dontrell Hilliard, who caught two TD passes in Tennessee’s 21-20 loss to the Giants, is out (hamstring).

TRENDING: The line has climbed from 7.5 (preseason) while the Total has sunk from 49.5. The Titans are strong on MNF (8-2 ATS last 10) and as ‘dogs (6-2 ATS last 8). The underdog is 10-1 ATS in teams’ last 11 meetings.

EXPERT PICKS

The guys hit some rough terrain Sunday. Whose picks on MNF will be sharper -- Jay Croucher or Ryan Leaf?

THE BOOK

Justin Jefferson Under 97.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
"Jefferson's number is 15 yards higher than last week's. It's an overreaction. The Eagles were elite at limiting the yards of WR1s last season."
Derrick Henry Under 89.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
"The game script will go against Henry as a 10-point 'dog on the road."

THE BIG NAME

Bills -10 vs. Titans (-107)
“It’s a good thing the Bills released their punter; they don’t need him. This is a big number, but I don’t think the Titans have the firepower with A.J. Brown now in Philly.”
Vikings +2.5 @ Eagles (-107)
“I love what (former Rams O.C.) Kevin O’Connell has brought to the Vikings. Justin Jefferson is Minnesota’s Cooper Kupp.”

(MORE) MONDAY NIGHT MAYHEM

Vikings @ Eagles (-2.5); Total 49.5 (8:30p ET)

KEY FACTS: Kirk Cousins has been a disaster on MNF (2-9) but is trending up after beating the Bears (25-for-36) in 2020 and 2021 (a mere 87 passing yards but Chicago was putrid). This will be the first road and MNF game for coach Kevin O’Connell. The Eagles racked up 455 yards in Detroit in Week 1.

TRENDING: If you believe in trends, throw down on the Over: Philly’s last five home games have gone over, and the Over has hit four straight times with the Vikings as an underdog.

All-In on Allen

PROPS TO THESE PROPS

Four of our favs:

  • Bills QB Josh Allen Over 260.5 Passing Yards (-115): Allen lit up the Rams’ vaunted defense for 297 passing yards in Week 1 and now faces a unit that allowed the 8th-most passing yards in 2021. Allen has tons of targets with or without Gabe Davis (questionable).
  • Bills RB Devin Singletary Over 45.5 Rushing Yards (-115): The Titans let Saquon Barkley romp for 164 in Week 1.
  • Vikings WR Justin Jefferson Anytime TD (-105): He scored twice in the season-opening beatdown of the Packers, and Philly let half the Lions’ roster reach the endzone in Week 1.
  • Eagles RB Miles Sanders Over 55.5 Rushing Yards (-115): His 96 rushing yards in Week 1 bumped his career average to 61.8.
LONNNNGSHOTS

YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS

The Jets trailed in Cleveland by 13 points with 1:55 to go. Corey Davis scored on a busted coverage, the Jets converted the onside kick and got home when Garrett Wilson found a gap in Cleveland’s Cover-2. One PointsBet client threw down $20 on the J-E-T-S at odds of +6600, netting $1340.

Longest odds: +17500 (175/1!)

The Cardinals trailed 23-7 with less than 9 minutes left in regulation. They needed fourth-down and two-point conversions, one on a Kyler Murray 84.9-yard north-south, east-west scramble, to emerge with the 29-23 OT win.

Longest odds: +2800

WILLETT BE A DISASTER

WHAT WERE THE ODDS (golf edition)?

Max Homa trailed Danny Willett by one shot heading into the final hole of the Fortinet Championship. Homa chipped in for birdie to an elevated green, the ball slamming the flag from 32 feet. Willett needed to convert a putt from 3 feet, 7 inches to win. Instead he ran it past 5 feet. And missed that too.

Longest odds: Live-trading ended before Homa’s chip, so we’ll have to get creative. We’re estimating Homa’s make at 20/1. As for Willett, it was the first 3-putt inside from 5 feet from anyone in the field all week. Whoa. So 75/1. Put them together for an unbeatable – and unbettable – +150000 (1,500/1).
