MARQUEE MATCHUP: PART 2 📺

January 1, 2024

OPENING KICKOFF: 8:45 p.m. ET

KEY FACTS: Washington is the first team in the Division 1 era (since 1973) to play nine straight games decided by 10 points or fewer and win them all 🤯. This is the fourth time that Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian will face his former team since leaving as Washington HC in 2013, going 1-2 in the three previous meetings.

LOVELY LONGSHOTS: Only Georgia (+220) was ahead of Alabama (+600) and Michigan (+700) in preseason national title odds. The other two CFP semifinalists were more of a surprise 😮. When the season kicked off, Texas was tied for the ninth-lowest title odds with Penn State at +2000. Washington was even further down the board at +3800.

MAKING MOVES: Texas opened as 4-point chalk on Dec. 3 and briefly touched -4.5. After residing at -4 for the majority of the past two-plus weeks, Texas dipped to -3.5 a few days ago. The total was first posted at 64, was quickly bet down to 63.5 and has reached 63 for the first time this morning.
