PREVIEW: Alex Pereira stunned the UFC world after upending Israel Adesanya with a fifth-round TKO to capture the middleweight belt at UFC 281. Now the two foes square off in another title bout, this time in Miami at the renamed Kaseya Center.
Besides the UFC 281 victory, Pereira has twice defeated Adesanya outside the Octagon in their kickboxing days.
ASK A TRADER: “What makes Adesanya the favorite is in the three fights he lost to Pereira, all have been ‘winning from behind’ situations for Pereira. It’s hard to argue Adesanya isn’t better on his feet and has shown signs of being better on the ground. Adesanya simply has more ways to win that Pereira in our opinion.” – Jake Dunne, Sports Trader
