The Offensive Rookie of the Year race already feels over. But is C.J. Stroud now making a push for NFL MVP?
After a big road win over the Bengals, the Texans find themselves as the No. 7 seed in the AFC playoff picture. Stroud leads the NFL in passing yards per game (291.8) ๐ฎ and has thrown for 15 touchdowns compared to just two interceptions.
This is the first time all season that Stroudโs MVP odds arenโt in the triple digits ๐ฏ. Just six players have lower MVP odds than Houstonโs rookie quarterback at +2000: Patrick Mahomes (+260), Jalen Hurts (+325), Tua Tagovailoa (+650), Lamar Jackson (+650), Joe Burrow (+1200) and Josh Allen (+1600).
The only rookie to ever win NFL MVP was Jim Brown back in 1957.
