For every Dustin Johnson (+850) and Jordan Spieth (+1000), we’ve seen juicy paydays for Masters champions such as Hideki Matsuyama (+4600), Patrick Reed (+4000) and Trevor Immelman (+15000).
Here are some longshots worth considering:
⛳ Justin Rose (+5000): He has the Masters chops (13 top 25s) and elegant game to get it done. Shot 65 on Thursday in 2021.
⛳ Tommy Fleetwood (+5500): “Fairway Jesus” came close to winning the Valspar and contended at the Players. Turned in a T14 last year at Augusta.
⛳ Adam Scott (+10000): The 2013 champion has made 19 cuts in 21 starts, so at least examine his 72-hole Match Bet versus the favored Scott Mitchell (-125).
⛳ Billy Horschel (+20000): Billy Ho’s odds require a magnifying glass because he has never contended. But his game looked sharp at the Match Play and he’d love to be able to give the middle finger to the LIV players at Augusta.
