There is only one underdog 🐶 among the top-5 most lopsided spread bets by tickets for Week 14. When looking at the most lopsided by handle, that same team is also the only underdog in the top 5.
It may be a surprise to some after last week’s performance, but that trendy pup is the Eagles 🦅. Philadelphia is getting 3.5 points in Dallas on Sunday night, and bettors are more than happy taking Jalen Hurts and Co. The Eagles have racked up 69.4% of the tickets and 85.1% of the handle among all spread bets against the Cowboys.
Philadelphia (+160) is also receiving the second-most moneyline tickets and handle 💵 of any Week 14 underdog, trailing the Colts (+110 at Bengals) in tickets and the Jets (+165 vs. Texans) in handle.
We brought in trader Wyatt Satre to discuss the latest action for Eagles-Cowboys.
ASK THE TRADER: Not much sharp action has come in on either side, but there has been a lot of public support on the Eagles. This line suggests that the Cowboys are about a point better on a neutral field, as I think the market has lost a bit of faith in the Eagles with their defensive struggles. Teams have been able to attack Philly’s secondary recently, which is a big issue against a red-hot Dak Prescott.
