After the MLB postseason started off with only sweeps 🧹 in the Wild Card round, we’re hoping that the four Division Series more than make up for it.
While three teams that have home-field advantage this round are favored to advance, there’s one that is not a favorite in its series. That would be the Orioles, despite finishing with the American League’s best record at 101-61.
Baltimore instead is listed as a pick in its battle with the Rangers, as both teams are priced at -110 to win this series. We brought in trader Jake Fisher to help explain why Baltimore isn’t getting the same love as the other teams that had byes in the Wild Card round.
ASK THE TRADER: The arrow is pointing up on the Rangers after they surrendered just one run to the Rays in their Wild Card Series. The Orioles were one of the best stories in baseball this season, but this is still a young 👶 group that doesn’t have much postseason experience. These two split their season series 3-3, and this evenly matched fight should make for a very entertaining ALDS.
