Believe it or not, the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game is next week. But we still have quite a bit to go before the regular season kicks off. To help speed up the timeline, we have our daily NFL betting reports. We’ll be highlighting the betting action for individual teams in four Hustles per week, sorting them out by division.

We continue our NFC East tour today with the Cowboys.

Odds: Opened +1300 (6th), currently +1400 (T-6th)
Action: 2.7% tickets (13th), 3.5% handle (11th)

Odds: 9.5 (Over -166, Under +130)
Action: OVER 64% tickets, OVER 85% handle

Odds: Opened +175 (2nd), currently +185 (2nd)
Action: 14.2% tickets (3rd), 20.3% handle (2nd)

Are bettors buying Dak Prescott after he was tied for the NFL lead in interceptions last season? Prescott opened at +1700 (9th) for NFL MVP, and has slightly worsened to +1800 (tied for 10th with Tua Tagovailoa). The Cowboys signal-caller has only brought in 0.5% of the handle for NFL MVP, which ranks 19th. That is the lowest mark of any player with MVP odds lower than +4000.

On the other side of the ball, Micah Parsons was originally a +700 co-favorite with Myles Garrett for Defensive Player of the Year. Now Parsons stands alone at +550, with Garrett next at +680. Dallas’ star pass rusher has racked up 13.6% of tickets and 23.3% of handle for DPOY, leading all players in both categories.
